"Scarlet Sails" - Steamed Stuffed Pepper Ships

Interesting recipe for Interested people! It will decorate your daily dinner table, will become a wished dish for a holiday party. Same healthy for children and adults. I like to prepare this kind of sweet pepper because it keeps all the taste and smell inside. Combination of different spices makes its taste unique but always interesting and new.
"Scarlet sails"
Ingredients:
  • 2 big (huge) or 3 small red sweet peppers
  • 200 gr minced meat
  • 1 onion
  • half glass of rice
  • salt
  • spices: basil, red chilli pepper, black pepper
  • 100 gr parsley
  • 100 ml milk cream (10% fat)
  • 3 spoons ketchup

1. First all, we should boil rice "al dente" (cooked so as to be firm when eaten :) I do it in the steamer - 10 min enough
2. Wash the sweet pepper, cut it from seeds. Shortly, make it empty inside.

3. Carefully cut sweet pepper into the 'boats".
4. Put these boats into steamed on 10 min. They should become softer and shining)))
5. Let's prepare the meat mixture,with which we will fill our boats)) Mix together meat, onion (small pieces), spices and parsley.
6. Add there al dente rice and careful continue to mix.
7. Put in the rice plate of the steamer pasley leafs - make such a "pillow" for our ships.
8. Fill the pepper boats with a meat mixture and put them on the 'pillow'

9. Now let's prepare the sause, which will be added in the dish. We should mix milk cream and ketchup together.

10. Put this mixture in the spaces between boats.

11. Set the steamer time for 30-35 min and we will have to wait when 'our ships will swim to us"))

12. Now our boats are ready. They are not look like ships now, but as boats they look very tasty))))
