Stuffed calamari / Kalamar dolması/ Фаршированный кальмар

Calamari is one of the most naughty ingredients which I've even prepared. There is not so many recipes with it. It is rather difficult to prepare it with right ingredients, right sauce, right spices. It can easily become dry or burned or hard as a shoe's skin))) But the steamer helps to prepare it tasty and soft. So I recommend you to try this seafood and prepare it according to my recipe.
Calamari in steamer
Ingredients:
  • 2 calamari
  • half of carrot
  • half of onion
  • 100 gr mozzarella
  • 50 gr rice
  • 2 spoon soy sauce
  • nutmeg
  • thyme
  • white pepper
  • parsley

1. First of all, we need carefully clean the calamaris without breaking their structure.

2. Strew calamaries with spices, add there 1 spoon of soy sauce and leave it for 15 min.

3. Boil rice (al dente). Cut mozzarella into small pieces. Fry carrot and onion. Mix everything and add 1 spoon of soy sauce.
4. Stuff calamaries with prepared in the previous step fitting. TIP! Don't put inside too much of fitting mixture. Leave there 1\3 of place. Calamar is inclined to become smaller during preparing)) Lock it with toothpicks and put in the steamer.

5. Set the timer of steamer for 10-15 min.
6. Serve it as indicated in the main photo. Delicious it with white sauces.
