Steam Cake with Chocolate pieces

This recipe I've imagined by myself, using basic rules of cake recipes. Light steamed cake with pieces of bitter chocolate and (as all steam cakes) soft sponge texture will be loved by children and adults. Easy to prepare and easy to eat :)

Light steam cake with chocolate pieces
Ingredients:
  • 100 gr butter
  • 3-4 spoons sugar
  • 2 spoons starch
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 100 gr flour
  • 40 gr chocolate pieces
  • 1 spoon vanillin sugar
  • 1 egg

 1. Beat butter with sugar, add vanillin sugar, an egg and mix.

2. Add in butter-egg mixture flour, baking powder, starch and mix everything good.

3. Add chocolate pieces and mix.
4. Oil the rice-plate of the steamer. Place cake mixture in the rice-plate.

5. Set the timer of steamer for 35 min.
6. After 35 min check the cake - it should be soft but strong.

7. Turn the steamed cake on the fresh kitchen towel (usually steam cakes need some dry))

8. Delicious the cake with jam, chocolate, cream or fruits.
