Well, okroshka. Tasty word for my russian readers but strange word for my foreign readers. So I have to start with an explanation - what is it and how to eat it.
Okroshka - cold kvass soup with chopped vegetables and meat. Yes, traditionally that's it. But nowadays even in Russia - every family prepares it in a different own special unique way. Kvass can be replaces with a water + lemon juice, or water + vinegar, or kefir, or mineral water, or even beer! Yes, once I have seen and such variant. In my family okroshka is only the soup with kvass. Old-fashioned, traditional but so tasty and useful recipe. Okroshka is a cold summer full of vitamines soup.
Why okroshka in the steamer? because we prepare vegetables for it in the steamer. Everything is easy!
Ingredients:
1. We need cut green onion. Add the salt and some press it by the spoon (for make it softer)
2. While we make onion - we should prepare in the steamer potatos and eggs.
3. Cut sausage, cucumbers, white onion and mix with green onion.
4. Chop potato, eggs and add in the mixture.
5. Add in mixture sourcream
6. Add the kvass. Salt soup by the taste.
Serve cold with bread.

- bread kvass ( 1,2 lt)
- 2 medium potatoes
- 1 white onion
- 100 gr green onion
- 150 gr sausage (or meat)
- 2 eggs
- 2 cucumbers
- 100 gr sourcream
- salt
- dill
