Сelery root mash (purée)

Celery is a famous ingredient in the Mediterranean cuisine - they use it fresh, boiled, fried, prepare salads and soups, sauces and lots of other dishes. It contains lot of vitamines and micro-elements. But today we will talk just about celery root. It has specific smell (for me it smells as ginger) and interesting structure. Using our steam cooker we can prepare from it tasty and unusual modification of potato mash.

Ingredients:
  • 1\4 of celery root
  • 1 fresh potato
  • 30 gr butter
  • 50 gr milk
  • salt
  • spices

1. Let's clean the celery root and potato.

2. Cut root into 5-6 big pieces and put in the steam cooker. Add there cleaned potato.

3. Set the timer for 25 min.
4. Pound hot potato and hot celery root, add the milk, butter, salt and spices.

4.Celery potato puree is ready for taste!
5. Serve with vegs or meat by wish!
